 WORKSHOP 'Multitasking is a myth'

Interactive workshop on focus, attention, and modern time management. In this workshop, participants experience what constantly switching between tasks does to their focus, productivity, and workload.

Do you recognize this in the workplace?

You are working on a task and are interrupted by an email, a colleague, or a notification.

Just a quick bite in between, and then back again.

At the end of the day, you have done a lot, but it feels like you have truly finished very little.

This is not multitasking, but switchtasking.

This is exactly what many employees experience daily in the workplace.

What will you learn in this time management workshop?

Multitasking doesn’t exist.
Instead, we constantly switch between tasks. This is called switch-tasking, and it takes more time and energy than you might think.
During the workshop, it becomes clear what happens when you keep switching and how it affects your focus and results.

An active and interactive workshop

Wouter engages participants with energy and enthusiasm.
Even skeptical participants are quickly drawn in.
Theory is combined with interactive exercises and a short show.

Experience the effects of switch-tasking yourself

Participants get hands-on with practical exercises.
While spinning fragile plates on steel rods, they are asked to perform additional tasks at the same time. By constantly switching between activities, they directly experience what this does to their attention.

This experience clearly shows why multitasking doesn’t work and what is needed to work more effectively.

Practical and applicable

The insights from the workshop can be applied immediately in daily work.
Participants learn how to handle task-switching more consciously and how to use it to their advantage, both at work and in their personal lives.
