WHAT DOES THIS TIME MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP AND KEYNOTE DELIVER?
During ‘Multitasking Is a Myth’, participants experience what multitasking does to their attention and what this means for the way they work.
Awareness and insight
During this in-company workshop or lecture, participants become aware that the brain cannot truly multitask, but constantly switches from task to task. Through various interactive exercises, they experience firsthand that this switching is inefficient and that time and energy are lost when multiple tasks demand attention simultaneously.
The power of 'Mindful switchtasking'
Completely stopping shifting is often impossible in practice. That is why this session revolves around mindful switchtasking: consciously shifting with focused attention. Participants experience how they can significantly reduce the downsides and energy leaks of shifting. And it turns out that those who shift consciously work noticeably more efficiently. Practice makes perfect.
Directly applicable in practice
The insights align directly with daily practice: email, notifications, open-plan offices, working from home, and a packed schedule. Participants receive concrete tools to manage interruptions, consciously incorporate moments of rest, and make sharper choices regarding their daily schedule.
